Everyone will hurt you, find those worth suffering for

Well after 6 days in the hospital, 3 X-rays, an MRI, and neck surgery Peetee finally came home.  I am so relieved but at one point I did come to terms with the thought that I was going to lose him.   That realization was a bitch!  He is on five different medications that have to be administered right on time, so I am pretty busy these days.  I still have to work and I still have to settle out my Dad's estate so right now I have little time for me, but this won't last forever.
 Peetee before and after surgery.
I know it's hard to see him like this, but I have to believe better days are coming.
For the first time in a while I feel strong.
I feel wiser
and even if I don't have time for a proper outfit shot
You know I am still bringing out all the color.
I need it more than ever.
Keep getting better Peetee!

You've both been in my thoughts all weekend! Bless his poor little bald neck - you need to commission Cristi to make him a fabulous KMK bandanna.
I bet that medication is a nightmare but its all worth it if it makes our little Peetee better.
Looking beautiful - radiant, in fact. No matter how you feel - looking good & taking pride in yourself is a huge boost to the soul.
What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger used to mean nothing until I found out for myself. You're on the other side of it now, baby. Things will get better.
Love you! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wow, with the medication situation and sorting out your dad's affairs (more work than most people realize!), I can totally see why you'd be hella busy! Hoping little Peetee gets better quick so you can chill just a bit <3

That poor little bambino, he's been through so much. Just look at his little face. I'm so glad he's back home where you can have mutually healing snuggles. Now, i just have to say, you look like a beautiful angel mermaid in that picture with the hat and sunnies? How do you manage it? Xxxxxx

You do need that colour and brightness and positivity, darling, to keep you going and getting on through. Oh poor little boy, I'm sad to see him so sorry for himself. But he's on the mend, Krista, and you are doing everything you can for him. Tell me about the medications... when Willow injured her eye, there were drops for this, drops for that, antibiotics, painkillers, steroids, all to be administered to a particular schedule, and she hated every last bit of it, it was tough. But we got there, and she got better, and you and Peetee are a team, so you will get there too.
The pic of you in the hat is soooo beautiful, as is the sitting on the steps shot. So good to see you relaxed and smiling, darling. Nice boob shot too, thanks for that!
Give Peetee a big kiss and a careful squeeze from me, I am so pleased he is back home! xxxx

Colour what a powerful force it can be. As you learnt recently about my twins, colour has become so much more driving force in my life in making me feel good. Next Sunday will be the girls sixth memorial I need colour now more than ever this month. I'm glad your embracing colour even more so at present just go with it, it helps. I'm glad to hear Peetee is home, I know it must be hard keeping up with medications, but you need each other. I bet he's forcing you to slow down and just be and reminding you to be kind to yourself.

Wishing you light and love. X

I'm so glad to see that your fur baby is home. What an ordeal, for him and for you! Yes, I suppose that coping with adversity and not letting it get the better of you does leave you stronger and wiser, but it's a bitch while you're in the middle of it.

Peetee looks so vulnerable with his little shaved neck! I hope the medication and the love you're giving him get him back to his old self soon. XO

I'm so glad Peetee is home! It's stressful when family members (furry ones included) are unwell. <3

Your leggings collection and colors are beautiful. I've gotta admit I was pretty psyched to see how you flip down your cons- I have x-high ones like that and I tried to wear them yesterday but I had no idea what to do with the tongue. I think you just helped me save them from the donate pile. ;-)

Oh poor Peetee, he really has had an awful time, thankfully he's getting better and stronger, with lot's of rest and lots of love (and the meds) from his Mama, keep taking care of yourself lovely x x x

There are vitamins in colors: so good for you! The hat pix shows your aura is glowing again.

Peetee will heal quickly, now he's safely home and able to snooze properly. My aged cat is wobbling back to health from a radioactive meds procedure followed by 13 days in quarantine -- when we nap, we NAP!

All the best Peetee! 2014 has been such a rubbish year Krista! I haven't been though anything as tough as you have - but I can relate to one bad thing happening after another. It seems like Peetee is on the mend though - I hope he will return to 100% soon xoxo
